Celebrate Independence Day at India Point Park

Fourth of July is almost here! Time to fire up the grill, get some friends together, and celebrate. Enjoy an afternoon grilling on the rooftop patio at River House in Providence, Rhode Island. Then, continue your party at India Point Park just a mile away from our community where the city of Providence will host its annual celebration.

Just a short trip away from River House, you will find India Point Park at the junction of the Seekonk and Providence Rivers. Offering 18 acres of lush grass and trees, a playground, bike and walking paths, and waterfront views, anyone can find something to do.

During events, expect crowds and some rules. Save some room to eat more, since vendors from around the state will sell a variety of food. The Independence Day Celebration kicks off at 7:00 p.m. Around 9:00 p.m., the fireworks will begin lighting up the sky.

Briana White, a local acoustic and pop artist, will perform. She is well-known around New England and the Midwest. Enjoy her unique sounds as she plays her guitar and percussion instruments. The American Band will perform a variety of marches, overtures, and modern songs. Compromised of over 50 musicians, you will love their music as they play along to the fireworks extravaganza.

As with most events on holidays, expect many people. The easiest way to get to India Point Park would be to take an Uber since it is so close to the River House apartments.
