Low-key and focused on fun, this co-ed group plays every Saturday throughout the spring and summer at Dexter Field in Providence. Based on playground-style rules, organized teams play for five innings per game over the course of the season and end with a championship tournament to determine the league winner.
Offering spring, summer and fall schedules, WEFA Soccer is an outdoor league for both men and women. Seasonal teams play in an 8v8 format that includes Men's, Co-Ed Over 30 and Men's Over 35 teams. Games are played in two locations at fields in Cranston and East Providence. Seasonal play includes seven games as well as a playoff tournament.
The name says it all at Super Fun Activities Club, with a focus on offering intramural fun in a very casual setting. For adults 21 and older, this sports club has numerous co-ed sports leagues that include soccer, volleyball, flag football and dodgeball. In addition to the traditional team sports, Super Fun Activities Club also has some less conventional teams such as glow volleyball. Outside of the scheduled games, the club also hosts regular social events with everything from beach parties to comedy shows.
